We recently finished a basement remodel that included the addition of a restaurant-style wine cellar. The bottles are stored on their sides, end-to-end, rather than facing out like in traditional wine cellars.

The sleek look is a nice departure of what is usually seen in wine cellars. Because the bottles aren’t facing out, less space is needed. Of course, this also means less bottles can be stored, but for those who would like the inclusive of a wine cellar, but without the massive collection to fill it, this storage option is just the thing.
